1. What is Transfer Miles?

With Mileage Services by Loylogic - Transfer Miles, you can transfer up to 35,000 award miles per year to another Miles & More member for a fee.

2. Who can transfer miles?

Mileage Services by Loylogic is currently available to all Miles & More members. As this is a product with a payment function, it is only available to members over the age of 18.

3. How many miles can I transfer per year?

You can transfer up to 35,000 award miles per calendar year.

4. Who can I transfer miles to?

With Mileage Services by Loylogic, you can transfer award miles to other Miles & More members.

5. How often can I transfer miles?

You can transfer award miles as often as you want as long as total miles transferred is below the maximum transfer amount of 35,000 per calendar year.

6. What information do I need from the member I’m transferring miles to?

The award miles transfer can only be made using a Miles & More service card number. Please make sure that you have entered the recipient’s Miles & More service card number completely and correctly. The Miles & More service card number can be found on the Miles & More permanent card or the digital card in the Miles & More app.

We suggest you to provide further details to help us give a personalized message and experience to the recipient.

7. Is there a fee to transfer miles?

There is a fee associated with every transfer. You can see applicable transfer fees in the miles selection dropdown against the miles value.

8. How will the fee be charged?

The fee for the award miles transfer can be paid via any payment (credit/debit/prepaid) card. Cards accepted include Mastercard, VISA, Amex and Diners.

9. Can additional fees be charged?

Additional card processing fees may be charged by your financial institution depending on your country and currency. Please contact your financial institution if you have any queries.

10. Where can I see the award miles I’ve transferred?

You can see who you have transferred award miles to in your mileage account at miles-and-more.com or in the Miles & More app.

You will also find an overview of your transfer activities to date when you are logged into the Mileage Services by Loylogic website. Please note that the names of the recipient stated are only used for ease of identification.

11. How long does it take for award miles to be transferred?

Miles will be transferred to recipient’s account immediately after a successful transaction. Miles & More will usually credit the transferred Miles into the other member’s account within no more than 3 business days.

12. Can I request for a refund of my order?

Transfer transactions are irreversible and the associated fees are non-refundable.

13. Who can I contact if I have questions about my transaction?

You will find a form via this link where you can ask questions about your transfer. Loylogic will respond promptly. Please note that the form should only be completed and will only be responded to in English.

14. As a status customer, can I use my mileage advance for a mile transfer?

A mileage advance cannot be used as part of an award mile transfer.

15. What types of miles can be transferred using Mileage Services by Loylogic?

Only award miles can be transferred with Mileage Services by Loylogic.

16. In what currencies can I pay for my transfer miles transaction?

For your convenience, you can choose your preferred currency using the currency selector at the top right of the page. The price displayed is then calculated at the current applicable currency exchange rate. All prices are calculated on a daily basis and depend on respective currency exchange rates (provided by www.xe.com). Currencies supported for Transfer Miles transactions: EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, CNY, INR, RUB, PLN, JPY.

17. Should I use Transfer Miles to share my miles in a Mileage Pool?

If you are in a Mileage Pool and want to use the pooled miles, you don’t have to transfer them. It is only beneficial to transfer miles to members who are not in the same Mileage Pool as you are.
