Transfer Miles

With Mileage Services by Loylogic - Transfer Miles, you can transfer up to 35,000 award miles per year to another Miles & More member for a fee.

Mileage Services by Loylogic is currently available to all Miles & More members. As this is a product with a payment function, it is only available to members over the age of 18.

You can transfer up to 35,000 award miles per calendar year.

With Mileage Services by Loylogic, you can transfer award miles to other Miles & More members.

Your award miles will expire at the end of every quarter of the calendar year.

The award miles transfer can only be made using a Miles & More service card number. Please make sure that you have entered the recipient’s Miles & More service card number completely and correctly. The Miles & More service card number can be found on the Miles & More permanent card or the digital card in the Miles & More app.

We suggest you to provide further details to help us give a personalized message and experience to the recipient.

There is a fee associated with every transfer. You can see applicable transfer fees in the miles selection dropdown against the miles value.

The fee for the award miles transfer can be paid via any payment (credit/debit/prepaid) card. Cards accepted include Mastercard, VISA, Amex and Diners.

Additional card processing fees may be charged by your financial institution depending on your country and currency. Please contact your financial institution if you have any queries.

You can see who you have transferred award miles to in your mileage account at miles-and-more.com or in the Miles & More app.

You will also find an overview of your transfer activities to date when you are logged into the Mileage Services by Loylogic website. Please note that the names of the recipient stated are only used for ease of identification.

Miles will be transferred to recipient’s account immediately after a successful transaction. Miles & More will usually credit the transferred Miles into the other member’s account within no more than 3 business days.

Transfer transactions are irreversible and the associated fees are non-refundable.

A mileage advance cannot be used as part of an award mile transfer.

Only award miles can be transferred with Mileage Services by Loylogic.

For your convenience, you can choose your preferred currency using the currency selector at the top right of the page. The price displayed is then calculated at the current applicable currency exchange rate. All prices are calculated on a daily basis and depend on respective currency exchange rates (provided by www.xe.com). Currencies supported for Transfer Miles transactions: EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, CNY, INR, RUB, PLN, JPY.

If you are in a Mileage Pool and want to use the pooled miles, you don’t have to transfer them. It is only beneficial to transfer miles to members who are not in the same Mileage Pool as you are.

Extend Miles

With Mileage Services by Loylogic - Extend Miles, you can extend the validity of your expiring award miles for a fee.

If the extended award miles are not redeemed for an award in the mileage account within 36 months of the event, they will expire by the end of the next quarter, unless a longer deadline is announced through the Miles & More communication channels.

These extended award miles can be used in the same way as before the extension (i.e. to redeem flight tickets, upgrades or any other flight or non-flight reward).

In general, Mileage Services by Loylogic is currently available to all Miles & More members. As this is a product with a payment function, it is only available to members over the age of 18. Additionally, the member will need to have a minimum of 500 award miles expiring in the current quarter to be able to extend their miles.

The date and amount of the expired award miles will be indicated separately in the Miles & More account information or in the member’s individual online mileage account at least one quarter before the expiry date concerned.

There is no limit to the number of expiring award miles that you can extend in a calendar year. However, you will not be able to extend more miles than those expiring in the current quarter.

You can extend your expiring award miles as often as you want to.

You can also use Extend Miles if you are a member of a Mileage Pool. Please note, however, that the Mileage Pooling rules also apply here. If award miles from your Mileage Pool members expire in the current quarter, Extend Miles will extend the oldest award miles from your pool by at least 36 months and credit them to your account, regardless of which account they were previously on.

Multiply Miles

Multiply Miles is a service that enables you to increase the award miles you earn from flying with Miles & More airline partners. There are 4 different Multiple Miles packages: Lite, Classic, Pro and an individually customisable package.

If you choose to double your award miles with Multiply Miles (x2), you will receive the usual number of (flight) award miles as well as the same number of (multiplied) award miles on top. Example: you receive 1,000 regular award miles for the flight you have taken, then you are credited with a further 1,000 award miles via your Multiply Miles package (+100%). This gives you a total of 2,000 award miles, twice as many as you would receive without the Multiply Miles package. If you opt for triple miles, you will be credited with a further 2,000 award miles (+200%), so that a total of 3,000 award miles will be credited to your mileage account (= tripled). With quadruple miles, this means 3,000 additional award miles are credited (+300%), so that a total of 4,000 award miles are credited to your account (= quadrupled).

The additional award miles from Multiply Miles will be credited to your Miles & More mileage account along with your regular award miles once your flight is completed.

Multiply Miles packages are available to all Miles & More members 18 years of age or older.

The maximum limit for the additional award miles that can be earned with Multiply Miles is 120,000 award miles per package term. You can individually select your desired limit on the order page between the levels 5,000, 10,000, 30,000, 60,000 and 120,000 award miles.

Multiply Miles packages can be purchased at any time. However, only one package can be active at any one time during a contract term. The respective terms of the packages may not overlap. After the expiry of a Multiply Miles package, you can immediately purchase another package. The new Multiply Miles package may differ from the old one, e.g. it may have a longer term or a higher maximum mileage limit.

You have the choice between three different preconfigured packages (Lite, Classic and Pro). You can also put together your own individual package from the modules Multiply Miles factor (x2, x3, x4), maximum mileage limit (5,000, 10,000, 30,000, 60,000 and 120,000 miles) and term (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months) according to your needs.

No, with Multiply Miles you only multiply the award miles for your completed flights. The amount of status miles remains unaffected.

The transaction fees for Multiply Miles can only be paid by credit card. MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express and Visa are accepted.

You can check the status of your orders in the “My Transactions” section on the Mileage Services by Loylogic homepage.

Your package will be activated immediately after a successful transaction/payment. If additional order authorisation is required, your package will be activated within 3 business days.

The transaction fees for an already activated package are not refundable. With the purchase, you waive your right of revocation. This will be pointed out before the purchase transaction.

Unfortunately, we cannot change the benefits of a Multiply Miles package once it has been purchased. Of course, you can purchase another package with different features (factor, maximum mileage limit, term) after the end of the active package's term.

No. All packages have a fixed term. After this term, the packages end automatically.

The additional miles you receive through a Multiply Miles package are subject to the Miles & More terms and conditions. If you do not have unlimited mileage protection, e.g. through a valid status or a Miles & More Credit Card, these miles are valid for 36 months and expire after 36 months at the end of the quarter. In such a case, you can extend your mileage validity for an additional 36 months via "Extend Miles", another product in the Mileage Services family.
